"It is for those who are done with dating," FL co-founder Varsha Vadhyar says. What we want is a spouse," stresses Vadhyar, who set up FL with her brother, Abhishek Agnihotri, four years ago.
Lalit Malhotra saw Nina Maini at a lounge bar in Mumbai. It's the fact that Malhotra and Naini met at an event organised by a matchmaking network, Footloose No More (FL).
The vice-president in an ad agency, who is in his early forties, went up to 30-something Naini and introduced himself. Like them, hundreds of men and women are finding their life partners at such well-curated events. Time was when the village barber played a role that went beyond that of clipping hair.
The nai — or even the nayin — would mention an eligible girl to the family of a bachelor.
Horoscopes would be matched, and finally a wedding day fixed.
The job has now been taken over by an exclusive set of networks whose mission is to bring couples together.
The new age matchmakers — such as FL, Floh, Sirf Coffee (SC) and Twoly Madly Deeply (TMD) — perform the role of old barbers and matrimonial agencies.

They say the stoffer truck doesn't stop here well IT SHOULD food would be better ..... Vegetables are straight from a can or at least thats what they taste like, we liked the deserts, but on whole we would not recommend this place to anyone and we will never be back. My wife got home later after we made some stops for shopping and something she ate upset her stomach and it could not have been from anything else as she had for breakfast cereal... The tv ad with all the granny's well to many cooks spoil...
Hubby ate I on the other had tried to eat the chicken but even that was awful....hubby didn't eat much eather . My 8 year old niece could do a better job at cooking than this place does. Me and my wife went for lunch today, there is not an overly large buffet the chicken was good but not much else the salad bar is so, so.
The place was dirty and when a person took out one of the trays from the warmer the grease and dirt under and around the tray was gross!!!!! Folks, it's very simple, you must season the water when you cook grits. How good can the rest of the food be if they can't do something as simple as grits? I have tried this place more than once, I thought that maybe the next couple times the food would change in taste but it never did, it was always bland, no seasoning etc, the only thing I kinda liked was the cornbread rounds and they were extremely greasy.
