Hunky leading man Richard Fleeshman stopped by Show People with Paul Wontorek to chat about his post-Ghost plans, as well as his in utero TV debut, life as a teenage soap opera star, fave drunk food, beautiful penis and much more.
Now he is playing Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls on its UK tour which visits Southampton Mayflower from Tuesday May 17 - Saturday May 21.
The show, directed by New York's Gordon Greenberg, comes direct from the West End where it won wave reviews at the Savoy Theatre.
Guys and Dolls first premiered on Broadway in 1950.
It ran for 1200 performances and won the Tony Award for Best Musical.
Exclusive: Les Miserables star Samantha Barks says that living with her new boyfriend Richard Fleeshman is much like a musical. The petite brunette was coy about her relationship with former Coronation Street star Fleeshman – who took the West End by storm in 2011 – but had high praise for his own singing ability.
The 23-year-old actress shacked up with 24-year-old Fleesham just last week, and says things are going swimmingly. We sing along a lot – although no-one ever needs to hear it,’ the actress told Guilty Pleasures at the Baftas, where she was handing out an award.
However the actress had already entered Covent Garden’s Royal Opera House and taken her seat before the male model arrived.
The actress has just got back to the UK after filming a new movie about Dracula opposite The Hobbit star Luke Evans in which she plays a witch. Hopefully I’m unrecognisable as a witch as I’m playing an old, ugly one! Barks skillfully avoided an awkward encounter on the Bafta red carpet as her former lover David Gandy appeared not far behind her.
The musical has had several Broadway and London revivals, as well as a 1955 film adaptation starring Marlon Brando, Jean Simmons, Frank Sinatra and Vivian Blaine.
